Components of Cutter Suction Dredger

Electric system of Cutter Suction Dredger: the system is composed of generator towed by free end of main engine or auxiliary engine, standby generator set, electric cabinet, charger, lighting and console.

Main generator of cutter suction dredger: provide power for sealing water pump, miscellaneous water pump, lighting and air conditioning when dredger is working.

Spare generating set of cutter suction dredger: provide power for above equipment in case of ship shutdown, maintenance, emergency.

Electric cabinet of cutter suction dredger: it is used to control the electrical equipment on the ship, on which there are shore generator, knife switch, sealing water pump, miscellaneous water pump, standby hydraulic pump, fan, air switch for lighting and leakage protector. There are voltage indicator on the panel, start / stop button of working / standby generator transfer switch, standby hydraulic pump, sand pump, sealing water pump, miscellaneous water pump and fan.

Dredger charger: charging battery.

Dredger battery: provide power for diesel engine starting and hydraulic system solenoid valve. The whole dredger is illuminated by 24 V power supply and powered by signal.
